WHO WE ARE
We are an evangelical, Bible-believing church serving the city of Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico. Our love for Christ and our desire to share His saving grace motivates us to reach out to English and Spanish speaking people here. Our ministry is intended to provide a church home for those who are missing the church they left as well as those searching for purpose in their lives.
The Bible is our guide and authority concerning faith and practice. It holds solutions to life’s dilemmas and answers regarding interpersonal relationships. It meets the needs of ALL, regardless of their beliefs or previous practices.
Our Sunday morning service begins with a time of praise and worship accompanied by our own praise band. Our pastor then presents a stimulating and relevant bilingual message. We also have a time of visiting and refreshments as one large family.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe the Bible to be the infallible, inerrant Word of God (both Old and New Testaments). We believe in the Trinity – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – Three-in-One, equal in attributes and perfection. We believe Christ to be God incarnate – fully God and fully man. We believe He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died a vicarious and atoning death, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return to earth in power and glory.
We believe that Man was created in the image of God, but that sin separates man from God.
We believe that Salvation is a free gift of God's grace, and is obtained through faith in Christ as personal Savior. We believe all who have received salvation through faith in Christ are secure in their salvation based on the substitutionary death of Christ on the cross. Spiritual life may be received, not by human merit or works, but through faith in Christ as personal Savior. All who have received salvation through faith in Christ are kept secure in their salvation by God's keeping power.
